Check out this gorgeous video of “Buried at Sea” from director Nadia Stuyk. With the help of color treatments and overlapping imagery, Stuyk’s footage — taken off the coast of Granada, Spain — transforms rock formations and underwater scenery into an ethereal vacation advertisement.
“Buried at Sea” is originally pulled from Echo Lake’s Young Silence EP, but the first minute and a half sounds like a lost demo session from Slowdive’s Just For a Day. Echo Lake’s debut album drops sometime in February through the great No Pain in Pop label.
